Ten soil-free Tillandsia in a varied mix
The group may include upright spikes, fine tufts, loose curls and broader silver-scaled rosettes. Species and sizes vary with the current selection, so the ten plants differ in leaf form, texture and green, silver or flushed colour.
Tillandsia absorb moisture across the leaf surface and use their small roots mainly for anchoring. Each plant can be displayed on an open, dry support and should be watered and assessed as an individual rosette.
