Spathiphyllum 'Sweet Silvana' is a peace lily hybrid with dense basal growth, dark green glossy leaves and white to cream spathes. It forms a full, leafy clump with smooth foliage and softly cupped inflorescences above the crown.
The leaves grow directly from the base, forming a bushy evergreen plant with elliptic to narrow-ovate blades. Slightly wavy leaf margins and furrowed veins give the foliage a more textured surface.
Spathiphyllum 'Sweet Silvana' forms a dense clump with new petioles emerging from the base. Over time, the plant fills its pot with dark glossy foliage and a rounded, leafy crown.
The spathes open white to cream and sit above the leaves when conditions are steady. As with other peace lilies, the spathe is the showy bract around the spadix, where the true flowers are arranged.
Chewed Spathiphyllum 'Sweet Silvana' tissue can irritate the mouth and throat because the plant contains calcium oxalate crystals. Keep it away from pets and small children.
Spathiphyllum 'Sweet Silvana' was selected in the Netherlands from proprietary Spathiphyllum parent lines. Its recorded traits include white to cream spathes, dark green leaves and fast clumping growth.
