Spathiphyllum 'Pearl Cupido' is a compact peace lily with dark glossy leaves and neat white spathes. Its foliage rises cleanly from the base, forming a smaller clump with evergreen leaves and pale arum-type inflorescences.
The crown builds into a dense plant with a tidy upright spread. With bright indirect light, even moisture and warmth, Spathiphyllum 'Pearl Cupido' can produce small white spathes above the foliage.
Spathiphyllum 'Pearl Cupido' grows from a basal crown, with petioles rising directly from the potting mix. The compact habit gives the plant a full look while keeping the overall footprint small.
The white part of the inflorescence is the spathe, which surrounds the central spadix. Fresh spathes open pale, then age gradually as the plant moves through its normal flowering cycle.
Plant tissue contains calcium oxalate crystals. Keep Spathiphyllum 'Pearl Cupido' away from pets and children, as chewing can cause mouth and throat irritation.
Spathiphyllum 'Pearl Cupido' belongs to the Cupido Series, a compact cultivated line of peace lilies with dark glossy foliage, basal clumping growth and white spathes.
