Pteris parkeri 'Albolineata' carries a continuous cream to pale yellow-green band through the centre of every narrow frond division. Clear green margins frame the stripe, and the divisions line the central rachis in a neat feathered arrangement. Together they form upright to arching fronds with a crisp two-tone pattern.
New fronds rise as tightly coiled croziers and gradually unfurl from the base towards their tips. A mature crown contains fronds at several stages, from fresh light growth to fully expanded striped blades. Fertile fronds may develop slender brown spore-bearing lines beneath the rolled margins of the divisions, adding a regular dark edge to the underside without interrupting the central pale band above.
