Queen and King Anthurium at a young stage
Anthurium warocqueanum, known as Queen Anthurium, begins with narrow velvety leaves and pale veins. King Anthurium, Anthurium veitchii, produces firmer glossy blades with a deeply corrugated surface.
Both plants are juvenile. Warocqueanum develops longer leaves as it matures, while veitchii gains a broader strap-like form and increasingly pronounced ridges.
