Golden-yellow to chartreuse colour spreads evenly through leaves that are cut into numerous narrow lobes. The divisions fan outward from each blade, producing a wide, feather-like crown with open spaces between the segments.
Beneath the pale canopy, the plant develops the same thick stems and robust habit as green Philodendron warszewiczii. Young leaves begin less divided, then expand into the more intricate mature form. Colour strength varies between leaves and plants, but the yellow-green tone remains visible throughout the crown.
