Philodendron 'McColley's Finale' is a compact self-heading hybrid that carries several colour stages at once, with new leaves opening chestnut red, deepening through burgundy, and then settling into green with darker red undertones. Because it forms a tight rosette rather than a vine, it stays upright and structured without needing a pole, which makes it useful where climbing plants would feel unruly. Mature plants usually stay around 90 cm tall and about 60 cm wide.
Bright, indirect light keeps the new growth richer, while watering after the upper 15–20% of the mix has dried helps avoid yellowing from stagnant moisture. It tolerates average indoor humidity but looks better with more, and an airy bark-and-coir mix at 18–28 °C keeps it steady. Division is the main home propagation option.
