Philodendron hastatum 'Silver queen' ('Silver Sword')
Smooth blue-grey leaves extend in a narrow spear-shaped form, with two basal lobes spreading behind the long front section. Their metallic cast changes subtly with leaf age and viewing angle, giving the smooth surface its silver appearance.
This upright climber attaches by aerial roots and carries leaves that point upward and outward in an open sequence along the stem. Larger blades display the spear shape and basal lobes most fully, while narrower leaves retain the same blue-grey surface.
