Philodendron geniculatum, often sold as 'Jet Streak', is recognised by elliptic leaves with a thick pale midrib and strongly parallel side veins, giving the foliage a disciplined, linear look. It can creep or climb depending on how it is grown, and the conspicuous geniculum at the top of the petiole adds another structural detail for growers who pay attention to form.
