Philodendron barrosoanum
Philodendron barrosoanum builds each leaf around three bold sections. One long central section points forward while two broad lower lobes spread to either side of the open base. The upper surface is deep green, the underside is lighter, and the firm edges can carry a gentle wave.
Long green leaf stalks hold the foliage well away from the climbing stem, so an established plant can take up both height and width. The combination of broad side lobes and an extended central section is the feature that makes this species immediately recognisable.
