The short green stems of Peperomia dahlstedtii remain visible between closely spaced leaves, giving the plant an open, finely divided appearance.
Young shoots stand upright at the centre. As they lengthen, the narrow smooth leaves follow the stems outwards and the compact clump develops a softly arched edge.
