Peperomia 'Santorini' is a compact upright hybrid with elliptic leaves that show cool grey tops and warm pink-red undersides, creating a sharper two-tone effect than plain green peperomias. It usually reaches around 20–25 cm and works well as a tabletop accent.
The leaves are thick and slightly leathery, which means the plant stores some moisture and prefers the substrate to dry a little between waterings rather than staying wet. Bright, indirect light helps preserve the strongest colour contrast, while moderate room humidity and warm conditions suit it well. Use a loose, airy mix with good drainage and avoid cold drafts or heavy soils. This hybrid is mainly valued for its contemporary palette, upright structure, and quietly dramatic two-sided foliage.
