Broad leaves spread close to the base and overlap into a low, widening clump. Silver, lime and dark green divide each blade into irregular bands and patches, with softer shades forming between the strongest colours. No two leaves repeat the pattern exactly. Every new leaf adds a different arrangement of pale and dark patches as the clump fills out. Even at its broadest, the foliage remains close to the pot instead of rising on tall visible stems.
