Goeppertia (Calathea) picturata 'Argentea' Goeppertia (Calathea) picturata 'Argentea' is a silver-centred prayer plant with broad oval leaves, cool pale centres, deep green margins and purple undersides. The clear contrast gives the plant a sharply patterned surface, while the rounded leaves build a soft layered shape as new growth opens. It stays bushy in a pot, with the silver centres framed clearly by the darker edges. The cooler colour range pairs well with deep green foliage and other patterned prayer plants. Warm indoor conditions, bright indirect light and steady moisture keep the broad leaves from drying unevenly.
