Distinctly waved leaf edges give Fittonia albivenis ‘Forest Flame’ a visibly rippled surface. Freely branching stems keep those small leaves close together in a broad, flattened mound, while the centre rises slightly above the edges.
Red to salmon-pink veins divide each green blade. On the most strongly marked leaves, the colour broadens beyond the vein lines into larger pink areas, leaving irregular dark-green sections between them. Together, the waved margins and spreading stems carry the colour across the whole compact crown.
