Dracaena fragrans 'Dorado' is a refined cane-form cultivar with dark glossy leaves edged in a softer light green, giving it a quieter two-tone look than more heavily striped selections. The effect stays polished indoors. Indoors it usually reaches around 1–1.5 m over time, developing ringed stems as older leaves are shed and new crowns continue from the top of each cane.
Bright indirect light suits it best, though moderate light is accepted, and watering should come only after the upper few centimetres of soil have dried. A well-draining potting mix, warm conditions around 18–27 °C, and ordinary indoor humidity are enough for steady growth.
Brown tips can reflect fluoride, irregular watering, or dry air. This durable houseplant should be kept away from pets.
