Each Franklin Street leaf has a clear three-part pattern. A rose-to-hot-pink centre follows the midrib through a dark burgundy-to-chocolate field, and a narrow chartreuse-green margin outlines the pointed, scalloped edge.
The pink centre tapers towards the tip, leaving the green-edged burgundy zone visible around it. Evenly branching upright stems hold the pointed leaves in a dense plant, repeating the same rose, burgundy and green arrangement across the foliage.
