‘Arcobal’ combines glossy, deep green foliage with fruit that changes dramatically as it ripens. The young rind is green and lightly striped; mature fruit turns orange with irregular transverse red bands, and the flesh can develop a red flush. White flowers may carry a faint purple tint and release a strong citrus scent.
This Meyer lemon and double blood orange hybrid grows into a dense, woody shrub with some short thorns. The leathery leaves become broader and slightly rippled on mature shoots. With pot volume and pruning, it can be maintained around 1.5 m in height, while the colour and strength of the fruit striping vary naturally through the crop.
