Austrocylindropuntia subulata f. cristata is a crested form of the Eve’s needle cactus, grown for fan-shaped, ridged green growth and irregular crested lines. The plant forms a ridged, crested succulent profile with small areoles and narrow leaves on fresh growth.
Give it very bright light, warm airy conditions and a mineral cactus mix that drains quickly. Water deeply only after the substrate has dried, then let excess moisture leave the pot freely.
