Anthurium 'Silver Blush Mint' has paler, cooler foliage than many dark velvet Anthuriums. Its heart-shaped leaves combine a soft silver-green surface with pale veins and natural marbling.
New leaves rise from the central crown and often look lighter at first. As they firm up, the pale green and silver tones become clearer, while the pattern can still vary from leaf to leaf.
The pale green and silver pattern varies naturally between leaves and between individual plants. Bright filtered light supports steady growth.
Mature plants may produce Anthurium flowers, made up of a spathe and spadix. The flowers can stay on the plant or be removed after fading.
Keep Anthurium 'Silver Blush Mint' where pets and children cannot reach it. All parts contain calcium oxalate crystals, which can irritate the mouth, throat, skin and eyes if plant material is ingested or sap touches sensitive skin.
Anthurium 'Silver Blush Mint' is a cultivated Silver Blush-type Anthurium grown for pale mint tones and silver marbling. The genus name Anthurium refers to the tail-like spadix. 'Silver Blush Mint' describes the silver veining and cooler mint-green tone seen in the leaves.
