Mature foliage becomes broader and more substantial, combining the dark colouring associated with besseae-affinity plants with forgetii’s continuous lower outline. The compact hybrid reaches around 50–60 cm high and wide. Seedlings can vary in roundness, vein brightness and mature colour.
New leaves may open bronze, red or copper before becoming deep green velvet. The blades are rounded, with pale veins and a small or completely closed opening at the base.
