Rounded velvet leaves with a closed sinus give Anthurium besseae aff. × forgetii a dense, composed look, while strong pale venation keeps the plant readable even from a distance. The foliage usually feels thicker and more substantial than many thin velvet hybrids, and the plant keeps a compact rosette instead of climbing away from its pot.
Mature leaves can reach roughly 25–40 cm indoors when humidity and root conditions stay stable. Bright filtered light, temperatures around 18–26°C, and a breathable mix of fine bark, moss, and perlite suit it well. Keep the substrate lightly moist, letting only the upper few centimetres dry before watering again.
Because it contains calcium oxalate, it should be kept away from pets or children that may bite foliage.
