Alocasia ‘Polly’ Albo/Pink Variegata is a variegated form of the hybrid Alocasia ‘Polly’. Its ancestry combines Alocasia sanderiana from damp Mindanao ravines with Alocasia longiloba from humid Southeast Asian forest floors and rocky ravines.

Its ‘Amazonica’ background is Alocasia sanderiana × Alocasia longiloba ‘Watsoniana’. The parent names respectively honour Henry Sander, mean “long-lobed”, and commemorate Watson.
