Alocasia nebula ‘Silver’, a trade name that overlaps with ‘Black Diamond’, has heavy leaves in silver-grey and charcoal. A dense dark vein network frames the quilted panels, deeper colour edges the blade and purple covers the reverse.
The silver character strengthens as greener lightly textured leaves become broader, firmer and cooler in tone. Dark channels deepen and the upper surface develops a metallic pewter cast. Several cultivated clones circulate under these names, so minor details can vary. Established plants consistently form a compact group of strongly textured silvered leaves with dark margins and richly coloured undersides.
