Alocasia nebula 'Silver' ('Black Diamond') is a compact to medium-sized Bornean Alocasia with metallic grey-green leaves, strong venation, and a bullate surface that catches light from different angles. The plant has a firm leaf outline because the blades are thick, slightly puckered, and held on upright to spreading petioles. Individual plants can vary from smoky silver to darker charcoal tones.

The plant grows from a rhizomatous base and may carry leaves on erect to spreading petioles, with the blades angled slightly downward as they mature.
