Alocasia nebula 'Silver' ('Black Diamond') has thick rounded leaves with a cool silver-grey surface and darker vein contrast. The blades are firm, slightly textured and held in a compact crown, giving the plant a dense display of grey, green and charcoal tones.
New leaves can shift in colour as they mature, with the clearest pattern in bright, softened indoor light. Grow it warm in a coarse aroid substrate with bark and mineral particles so air remains around the roots after watering. Let the upper layer dry lightly before watering again, then empty any standing water. This Alocasia contains calcium oxalate; keep it safely away from pets and children.
