Aglaonema ‘Vanilla Baby’ fills most of its small elliptic-oblong leaves with cream to soft vanilla. A thin green margin contains the pale centre, and fine green flecks extend inward from the edge. Occasional pink tints add warmth to the smooth surface, especially on fresh growth.
The cream fields widen from a greener, narrowly marked beginning while the leaves keep their modest size. Their cream fields widen as they expand, but the leaves retain their modest size, tapered tips and close proportions. Mature foliage gains a slightly firmer feel while remaining delicate in scale. Short new shoots gradually turn the young plant into a compact rounded specimen, with pale leaves covering most of its outer surface and greener young growth continuing through the middle.
