Aglaonema 'Matcha Lemon' has broad green-yellow leaves with matcha-green sections, pale lemon patterning and darker outer edges. The darker edges frame the yellow-green centre and keep the leaf outline clear.
This Aglaonema develops as a compact, bushy clump. The broader leaves give the green and yellow pattern enough surface area to show clearly even on younger plants.
Aglaonema 'Matcha Lemon' builds its shape through central new leaves and gradually widening outer growth. The plant stays self-standing, with root health depending on an airy mix and watering after partial dry-down.
The pale yellow sections are sensitive to direct sun, especially behind glass. Cold, wet substrate can slow the roots and weaken the lower stems, so warmth and drainage matter together.
Aglaonema 'Matcha Lemon' should be kept away from pets and small children. Its tissues contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals, which can cause mouth irritation, drooling, vomiting and swallowing discomfort if chewed.
