Agave ‘Shaka Zulu’
Agave ‘Shaka Zulu’ forms a broad solitary rosette of smooth, chalky blue-green leaves. A fine yellow line follows each margin, backed by a red edge and a dark terminal spine at the tip.
Growth is slow and the mature rosette can reach about 60 cm high and 90 cm across. Flowering comes late in the plant’s life, often after a decade or longer. The rosette dies after flowering, and this cultivar remains solitary.
