A wide cream-white stripe fills the centre of the large blue-green leaves of Agave americana ‘Mediopicta Alba’. The toothed blades rise from a short central stem, arch outward under their own weight and end in strong terminal spines, building a broad open rosette.
Established plants may produce young rosettes around the base. The original rosette flowers only once, eventually sending up a tall stalk. It dies after flowering. Rooted side growth can continue the plant.
