The “Globe” terrarium jar is a spacious, spherical jar made from recycled glass. Its wide opening and generous diameter provide enough room for more complex layouts with multiple plants, hardscape, and layered substrates.
The cork plug seals in humidity, making “Globe” well suited for tropical terrariums that should largely look after themselves once established.

Planting inside “Globe”
- Base layer: Add a mineral drainage layer, then a mesh or barrier before substrate.
- Layout: Place hardscape first, then tuck plants in; keep leaves off the glass where possible.
- Watering: Start lightly; aim for evenly damp substrate rather than standing water at the bottom.
- Access: Use the opening for quick trims and cleaning without disturbing the whole layout.
Glass and cork care for “Globe”
- Glass: Rinse with lukewarm water and wipe dry to keep mineral spots from building up.
- Cork plug: Wipe clean and let it dry fully; avoid long soaking so the fit stays snug.
- Air exchange: If condensation stays heavy, lift the cork briefly to vent, then reseal once stable.
