• Light: Give this large plant plenty of filtered light and protect it from harsh direct sun. Medium indirect light is tolerated, but a brighter indirect position generally supports stronger growth and flowering.
• Water: Check below the surface because a large pot can stay wet deeper down. Water when the upper mix is drying while the root ball still feels slightly moist, then let excess water drain.
• Humidity: Moderate to high humidity helps the long leaf edges stay smooth. Keep the plant away from strong heating or air-conditioning outlets that dry the foliage quickly.
• Temperature: Keep this large plant in warm, steady indoor conditions and away from cold draughts or sudden temperature swings.
• Potting mix: Use an airy mix that holds some moisture and stays loose around the roots. In a deep pot, compacted compost can stay wet for much longer than expected.
