Sarracenia 'Juthatip Soper' produces upright carnivorous pitchers rather than flat foliage, with pink to red mottling, green veining and open tubular traps rising from a clumping crown. Its bog-adapted roots belong in mineral-poor acidic carnivorous-plant substrate with rainwater or distilled water. Very bright light and winter dormancy shape seasonal pitcher development, while hard tap water, compost or fertiliser can quickly damage new growth.
