Philodendron ‘Burgundy Princess’
Deep wine-red to burgundy colour runs through the glossy leaves, leaf stalks, protective sheaths and stem. Most leaves remain dark and largely unpatterned, although an occasional pink mark may interrupt the rich burgundy surface.
Young plants keep their oval to softly heart-shaped leaves close around a short stem. As that stem lengthens and develops aerial roots, the plant takes on a more clearly climbing form while retaining its dark red framework.
