Myrtillocactus geometrizans 'Fukurokuryuzinboku' is a monstrose collector form valued for shape more than for classical cactus symmetry, with blue-green stems pushed into rounded, swollen tubercles that make the plant look almost sculpted by hand. It keeps the glaucous colour of ordinary Myrtillocactus but replaces the clean ribbing with irregular, almost anatomical bulges that immediately set it apart in a cactus collection. That makes it especially good in simple pots or minimalist placements where the silhouette can do all the work.
Like its normal counterpart, it still wants the basics of strong light, a heavily mineral substrate, and very restrained watering with proper dry cycles. The bizarre form does not make it difficult, only slower and more carefully observed.
For collectors of monstrose cacti, 'Fukurokuryuzinboku' feels less like a plant and more like a surreal blue-green desert sculpture.
