Lava Rock Granules – durable mineral structure for custom mixes

Lava Rock Granules bring physical weight and long-lasting pore structure to potting recipes. They are especially useful in mixes that otherwise rely heavily on soft organic matter or very light perlite.

More to know

A small mineral fraction can make a tall plant more stable and help the root zone resist compaction. The granules do not supply the moisture buffering of coir or the organic texture of bark, so they work best in blends.

A grittier mix can still stay wet in a cold room or oversized pot. Check the full pot, not only the dry-looking top layer.
