HESI OrchiVit: feeding fit

HESI OrchiVit is a complete orchid feed with secondary nutrients, chelated micro-elements, vitamins, amino acids and plant sugars. It is designed for orchid routines where one bottle is easier than combining several additives.

Use context

NPK: 4-2-3 for regular orchid nutrition
Root feeding: 1–2 ml/L for slower orchids or 3–5 ml/L for stronger growers
Foliar option: 1 ml/L as directed on the label
Use frequency: 1–4 times per month while orchids are taking up water

Dose by orchid response

Use the lower end for slower plants and the higher end only where growth, light and watering support it. Avoid feeding dry roots; water and feed according to orchid condition and label directions.

HESI Orchivit – fertiliser for orchids and epiphytic mixes

HESI Orchivit is formulated for orchids and similar plants grown in airy, bark-led media. It is designed for measured feeding where the potting medium holds less nutrient reserve than soil.

Use it as a routine feed according to the label and adjust to the plant’s uptake and watering volume.

What matters

Apply to the root zone after watering or to a lightly damp medium to avoid uneven concentration.
Flush with plain water occasionally if salts build up in the pot or on the pot edge.
Keep dosing modest for plants in cooler rooms or low light, where uptake slows.

Useful for epiphytic setups where roots sit in bark or orchid mixes and dry more quickly than in soil.

Practical use

Use as directed on the label and dose to current growth. Start at the lower end of the range after repotting or during low-light periods, then adjust based on response.

If you grow in inert or mineral substrates, follow the brand’s guidance for that setup and avoid stacking multiple feeds at once.

Mix fresh each time and avoid storing diluted solution.
Rinse the pot occasionally with plain water if salts build up.
Store tightly closed and out of reach of children and pets.
