Gymnocalycium mihanovichii
A small flattened green body is divided into sharply defined angular ribs. Short spines follow the rib edges, leaving the geometric stem clearly exposed. The cactus stays low as it gains width, extending the ribs around the central growing point; occasional offsets can appear near the base and form smaller versions of the same flattened shape.
