Ficus benjamina 'Natasja' is a dwarf selection with narrow, glossy green leaves and a dense, softly weeping habit that fits smaller interiors better than larger benjamina forms. It usually stays around 40–60 cm indoors, making it suitable for desks, shelves, or compact floor placements where a full tree form would be too much.
Bright, indirect light keeps growth neat, though it can tolerate moderate shade once settled, and a free-draining substrate helps prevent the overwatering problems ficus roots resent. Water once roughly the top 10–15% has dried, keep temperatures stable, and avoid moving it around too often because sudden change can trigger leaf drop.
Latex sap may irritate skin and is toxic if eaten, but routine pruning also makes this cultivar useful for bonsai-style shaping.
