Ficus benghalensis 'Petite Audrey' keeps the calm, velvety-leaved look that made 'Audrey' popular, but in a size and proportion that fit more easily into everyday interiors. Leaves stay slightly smaller, the branching feels tighter, and the overall plant reads fuller and more manageable without losing that banyan-fig character. That makes it especially useful where a standard Audrey would eventually feel oversized or too tree-like.
It still wants bright light and even watering, because all ficus react badly to repeated swings between drought and saturation, but once settled it behaves as a durable, handsome indoor shrub rather than a fussy statement tree. Soft leaf texture and compact growth also make it easier to style on sideboards, tables, or smaller floor positions.
For anyone who likes Audrey but needs less scale, 'Petite Audrey' delivers the same mood in a tidier package.
