Silver-washed foliage, dark veins, plum shading and softly scalloped margins blend into the balanced patterned crown of Begonia rex 'Odissi'. The colour zones spread across broad leaves and become fuller as the rhizome develops.
Filtered light, stable warmth and a shallow, airy substrate help the rhizome keep producing fresh leaves. Water when the upper layer is lightly dry and drain the pot fully so moisture stays even and light through the mix. Humidity around 50–70% supports smoother leaf expansion, especially in winter-dry rooms or cabinets. Keep airflow gentle, remove ageing foliage cleanly and repot only when the rhizome has reached the edge of the container.
