Begonia 'Alice Faye' grows on cane-like stems with rounded, satin-finished leaves in a rich forest green, giving it a softer and fuller look than many more angular cane begonias. The upright habit keeps the plant tidy in a pot, but the broad leaves stop it from feeling thin or spindly, especially once repeated pruning encourages side shoots and a bushier frame.
Place it in bright indirect light, keep the substrate lightly moist but never stagnant, and use an airy, organic-rich mix that drains well between waterings. Moderate humidity helps preserve clean leaf edges, and stem cuttings root readily when the plant is actively growing and warm.
Toxicity is typical for Begonia, so it is best kept away from pets and children that might chew the foliage.
