Anthurium wendlingeri
Long, narrow, leathery leaves hang from a compact crown as the plant grows on a tree. Their length gives the plant its main presence, especially once several mature blades descend together.
The mature spadix hangs below the plant and gradually forms repeated coils as it ages. After successful pollination, red berries can develop along the spiral.
Both the leaves and mature flower structures descend well below the compact crown.
