Anthurium 'Super Silver Blush' has rounded velvet leaves with a dense silver-white vein pattern. As the leaves mature, the pale veining covers more of the blade.
New leaves start softer and lighter, then gain clearer silver-green contrast as they harden. With steady warmth, filtered light and healthy roots, older plants can produce larger leaves with stronger contrast.
Older plants may produce a small Anthurium flower, with a spadix and surrounding spathe. The flowers can be removed after fading.
Place Anthurium 'Super Silver Blush' safely away from pets and children. The leaves, stems and inflorescences contain calcium oxalate crystals, which can irritate the mouth, throat, skin and eyes.
This is a cultivated silver-leaf Anthurium with broad pale veining and strong silver colouring. Anthurium refers to the tail-like spadix, and 'Super Silver Blush' describes the broad silver tone across the leaves.
