Mature foliage develops the broad proportions and pale branching veins of a large velvet Anthurium together with a thick, increasingly quilted surface. Mature blades become large and heart-shaped, combining regale’s length and pale vein pattern with luxurians-style puckering. Older plants can reach around 80 cm high and wide. Individual seedlings vary in leaf width, mature scale and the depth of their textured surface.
New leaves may open bronze, copper or red-brown. They gradually turn deep green and develop raised texture between the veins. The surface can range from soft velvet to a low gloss, depending on which parent is stronger.
