Heated Propagator 64/50 – Reliable Bottom Heat for Seeds and Cuttings
The Heated Propagator 64/50 provides a stable, warm microclimate so seeds and cuttings can root and germinate even when room or greenhouse temperatures are low. With insulated walls, a built-in heating system, and adjustable ventilation, it keeps young plants in their comfort zone while outside conditions fluctuate.
Build and finish
- Powerful heating: raises temperature inside the unit by up to about 30 °C above ambient when required.
- Light and humidity control: a clear lid maximises light entry, while adjustable vents let you fine-tune airflow and humidity.
- Insulated outer box: impact-resistant construction reduces heat loss and keeps temperatures more even.
- Flexible inner tray: watertight polypropylene insert that can hold loose substrate, pots, or plug trays and is easy to clean.
- Included dimmer: plug-in control to adjust heat levels for different crops and conditions.
Product overview
- Dimensions: approx. 60 × 40 × 25 cm.
- Inner box: watertight polypropylene, resistant to most common horticultural chemicals.
- Cover: clear lid with adjustable vent openings.
- Power connection: Schuko plug, compatible with timers or thermostats.
From vegetables and herbs to ornamentals and houseplants, the Heated Propagator 64/50 helps you achieve higher and more uniform germination rates throughout the year.
Ventilation and humidity in Heated Propagator
- Closed start: Keep vents mostly closed for rooting and germination, then open gradually to harden off.
- Condensation: Light condensation is normal; persistent heavy droplets usually mean it needs a little more airflow.
- Watering: Aim for lightly moist media rather than saturated trays.
Cleaning and storage for Heated Propagator
- Wash between rounds: Rinse tray and lid with mild soap, then dry fully.
- Gentle cleaning: Simple cleaning keeps plastics clear and seals intact.
- Storage: Store out of direct sun and heat so the lid does not warp.
