Dracaena trifasciata 'Silver Flame' has broad silvery-green centres, darker green margins, and soft grey cross-banding that make each leaf look cooler and more polished than standard snake plants. The upright clump stays compact and architectural, but the leaf pattern gives it more decorative depth than plain green or yellow-edged forms.
Indoors it generally grows to about 40–70 cm, suiting small to medium containers without quickly outgrowing them. Bright indirect light keeps the silver tones most visible, though moderate shade is tolerated, and watering should remain infrequent until the substrate has dried fully. A sharp-draining succulent mix and temperatures around 18–27 °C are enough for steady growth.
This cultivar dislikes soggy roots, tolerates being slightly root-bound, and is toxic if pets ingest the foliage.
