Epipremnum pinnatum variegata 'Marble' is a distinctive cultivar of the tropical climbing species Epipremnum pinnatum. It features elongated leaves with bold marbled patterns in creamy white and green, creating an unpredictable, highly ornamental look. As the plant climbs and matures, its foliage can develop deep fenestrations. Like all variegated aroids, individual patterns may vary from leaf to leaf, and some sectoring can appear over time.
The genus Epipremnum is derived from the Greek “epi” (upon) and “premnon” (trunk), referencing its tree-climbing nature. The species name pinnatum refers to the feather-like divisions of mature leaves. Originally described as Pothos pinnatus by Linnaeus, it was reassigned to Epipremnum pinnatum by Adolf Engler in 1908. The cultivar name 'Marble' reflects the dramatic contrast and painted look of its variegated leaves, though the stability of the pattern can vary between clones.
This rare and dramatic climbing aroid brings bold texture and contrast to any indoor plant collection. Shop now and enjoy the ever-changing, eye-catching foliage of Epipremnum pinnatum 'Marble' in your space!
