Aloe 'Pink Blush' is one of Kelly Griffin’s most celebrated hybrids, known for its artistic foliage and compact form. Although larger than many of his miniatures, this beauty still stays manageable – around 30 cm tall and 15 – 25 cm wide – making it perfect for containers and small gardens. Its unique multicolored leaves, patterned in green with vivid pink highlights, look almost hand-painted. The more sunlight it receives, the more intense those pink tones become, turning Aloe 'Pink Blush' into a living piece of art.
Among Kelly Griffin’s hybrids, Aloe 'Pink Blush' stands out for its striking color play and dependable growth. Unlike similar hybrids such as ‘Lizard Lips,’ this variety shows more vibrant neon tones and a bolder texture, making it highly sought-after in the collector market. Its ability to thrive in pots and adapt to bright indoor spaces adds to its popularity for small-space gardening.
✔ Place in strong light – more sun equals deeper pink tones. ✔ Use a clay or terracotta pot for root health and natural evaporation. ✔ Hold back on water slightly in summer to enhance foliage color without stressing the plant.
This hybrid’s vivid tones make it a striking accent for modern interiors or sunlit patios. Pair it with silver-blue succulents, dark ceramic planters, or black gravel for bold contrast. Its clumping habit also makes it an excellent choice for colorful succulent bowls and low-maintenance table displays.
Like most Aloe hybrids, Aloe 'Pink Blush' contains compounds that may be mildly toxic if ingested by pets. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs.
Genus Aloe: The name comes from Greek aloē, likely of Semitic origin, historically associated with medicinal and ornamental plants. Aloe 'Pink Blush' is a named hybrid and does not occur in nature.
