Basic Plant Puzzle Set – Terrarium Jar and Substrates
Basic Plant Puzzle Set gives you the core hardware for a jar terrarium: a recycled-glass vessel, cork lid and the substrate layers needed for drainage and root health. Plants are not included, so you can choose your own palette of mosses and small tropicals.
What’s included
- Terrarium jar with cork plug: approx. 25 cm tall and 25 cm in diameter; available with a standard cork or a cork with integrated LED light.
- Substrate layers: gravel, soil and activated charcoal for drainage, moisture retention and odour control.
Sustainable jar design
The terrarium jar is made from 100 % recycled glass, giving a clear view of both plants and substrate layers.
Notes before planting
- No plants included: you select the species, making the kit flexible for different styles.
- Plant choice: compact, humidity-tolerant plants perform best in a closed jar.
- Lighting option: the LED cork highlights the terrarium in low light but should not replace proper daylight or grow lighting.
