Hoya sp. 'Sulawesiana 3' is an undescribed yet species from Sulawesi, with stiff, elongated leaves. It colours red more readily than most Hoya varieties, when sun-stressed.
The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
