Homalomena rubescens 'Lemon Lime'; is a cultivar variety of Homalomena rubescens Kunth. It is a very robust, quickly growing terrestrial herb. Petioles are erect, leaf blades are cordate and fresh; green with slight quilting of the blade tissue.

The genus name "Homalomena" is derived from the Greek words for flat ("homalos") and moon ("mene").
