Dischidia ruscifolia variegata is a variegated variety of Dischidia ruscifolia Decne. ex Becc. It is a very elegant plant with a lovely growth habit - the slender stems are densely decorated with pairs of firm and succulent heart-shaped leaves in delicate matte green with creamy leaf margins.
Genus name comes from Greek dis, two Greek askidion, ascidium, alluding to the leaves which may or may not develop into pitchers.
